Web Sales – Direct Invoicing Enhancements | FR 3411 | Enhanced direct Invoicing aligned with startingblocks This is the second deliverable in an effort to provide a modern solution with robust capabilities to replace the existing Client Front Office Point-of-Sale. The first milestone was delivered with version 22.1. With the 22.4 release the system aligns direct invoicing functionality with web sales and starting blocks. This includes an out-of-the-box starting block for initiating a Direct Invoicing transaction, tailored with labeling on the pages, icons and buttons for that specific user experience. Also, Orders and Customer Care have been enhanced with the ability to search on direct invoice transactions.
For details regarding overall objectives, and planned future deliverables, refer to article on Web Sales under IDI Updates > Upcoming Features in the IDI Knowledge Center. |
Provisioning | FR 3383 | Dynamically setting POD property values on a service based on other products on theorder This feature introduces new functionality to the Provisioning application, called Variables. Variables let you dynamically update provisioning properties on the service based on other products assigned to the order. By updating provisioning properties based on assigned products, Variables will reduce the need to assign provisionable objects at the product level, decreasing the amount of configuration required to provision a service. Variables also improve order accuracy by ensuring the values sent on the provisioning request match the SKUs and MRCs assigned to the service. The new functionality lets you create a Variable list, map SKUs to provisioning values, assign the variable list to a provisioning property, and troubleshoot the Variable values sent in the provisioning request. |
Equipment Associations | AR 8954 | Product description on EquipmentAssociations This adds a Product Description field to forms for viewing Equipment Associations on services in Customer Care and IDI Desktop Client. This field lets users identify the type of equipment being used. The Product Description is taken from the Description field on the Product Catalog Add/Edit Retail Product form. |
Document Storage | FR 3447 | Improved error message for duplicatecategory This feature provides an improved error message in Document Storage that indicates when the category being added is a duplicate. |
Resolved Known Issues
Functional Area | PR | Description |
|---|---|---|
Customer Care | 83819 | Contract Term Associations display issues in Customer Care when an MRC Multiplier Fee isused Account-level features were incorrectly omitted from the Contact Term Associations dialog for contracts with a penalty type of MRC MultiplierFee. When the association type is set to All, account-level features are included in the contract penalty calculation even in the case that the contract is assigned to a service. The display in Customer Care has been updated to reflect this. Additionally, when editing the specific features that are associated with the penalty where the Association Type is Include or Exclude:
|
Customer Care | 83919 | Timeout on Add Featureorder When adding a new Feature by SKU from Customer Care, the SKU would hang and display an Internal Server Error. The view was optimized to no longer time out and work as expected. |
Customer Care | 83921 | Alert filter not working as expected The Account Summary view includes an ALERTS tab. You can filter the alerts list (e.g. include public, active and pending, and exclude internal only and expired). The filter was not functioning properly and would display alerts that should have been filtered out. The filter logic has been updated to properly filter per selected criteria. |
Orders – service contracts | 83920 | Catalog web service correlation error on servicecontracts A catalog web service correlation error occurred when either the Title, Acknowledgement, or TermsAndConditions field on a service contract were non-NULL and attempted to use the non-NULL values with the web template text, which is NULL. This check was updated to bypass all web template text code if NULL. |
Customer Care | 83832 | Service address management in Customer Care does not perform tax jurisdictionassignment CostGuard Client and Customer Care had inconsistencies related to service address tax jurisdiction management. Customer Care has been updated to provide a user experience similar to CostGuard Client when assigning tax jurisdictions to service addresses. |
Orders | 83938 | Duplicateorders When a network connection issue occurs while submitting a Make Sale order, an order can be created but the connection issue would delay the display, such that users might submit the order multiple times resulting in duplicate orders. This was resolved by creating a toggle that, when enabled, will display the following message and not allow users to re-submit if a receipt number has already been generated. Duplicate Order Order XXXXX has already been submitted with Receipt Number ‘XXXXXX-XX-XXX’. Cancel this Make Sale and review Order XXXXX to confirm it has processed correctly. If not, reach out to leadership for assistance with cancelling or modifying the order.
|
Orders | 83944 | Move Services wizard object reference error when attempting to move Roaming Partneraccount An object reference error occurred when the Move Services wizard was used to move a service to a Roaming Partner account. It was found that some of the right-click functions available on Roaming Agreements were not intended to function as they do on a standard service. Now when a Roaming Agreement is selected, the menu items for Suspend, Hotline, Redirect, Restore, Change Service Number, and Move Service are DISABLED if Subservices are not allowed. Change Parent Service is also disabled. |
Orders/ | N/A | List type properties not properly displaying the Namefield Provisionable Objects with a property definition type of List displayed the value field (for example 3) instead of the Name field (for example PastDue) upon being saved in Orders. This has been fixed to properly display the Name field. |
Tickets/ Communications | 83863 | Customer Reply emails not creatingtickets This issue occurred under a specific application of email ticket functionality where the Communications web module would send emails to customers, and a ticket would be opened for each instance where a customer replied to the email. Both the email sent out by Communications and the customer reply email were tagged with the same ID. This caused Communications to filter out the reply email as a duplicate and so a ticket would not be opened. The duplicate detection logic has been updated to not flag the reply emails as duplicates in this case, so tickets are opened as intended. |
Payment Processing | 83861 | Expiring credit card notification notsent This issue was related to PR 83755 deployed with CostGuard version 21.9 where expiring credit card notifications were not being sent. With the expiring credit card notification functionality, the expire date/time that is passed from the Care configurations to the API wasn’t encoded correctly so the end point didn’t recognize the date/time causing cards to not be correctly identified as expiring. Proper encoding of the date/time has been added so the end point correctly obtains the list of expiring credit cards. |
CostGuard Client – Equipment Displays | 83868 | Equipment Type changes not showing in theclient When updating Equipment Types in the Inventory Web service, updates were not immediately shown in CostGuard Client because an automatic a clear cache was not being sent. Users needed to perform a manual clear cache to see the updates. Now a clear cache is automatically sent on updating Equipment Types so that users are not required to clear cache manually. |
OnlineBill | 83922 | Column label out-of-place on Installment PlansView In OnlineBill > Installment Plans, the Payment Amount column header (far right column) was not displaying above the column of numbers and was wrapping to the next line down to the far left. This was corrected by adjusting the column sizes so that all text fits and displays properly. |
Document Storage | 83858 | Overlappingicons Icons in the left hand toolbar were overlapping in Document Storage. This has been resolved. |
