The Automation Rules tab lists the various AdvancePay Discount Categories and their associated rules
An Automation Rule defines the condition the AdvancePay Product must be in to have the automated action take place. For example, when the Unit balance of the Anytime Minutes Discount Category < 20 or when the current date is three days before the discount expires, the system sends a notification to the customer.
To configure an AdvancePay Product's Automation Rules, the AdvancePay Product must already exist. That is, if you create a new AdvancePay Product, you must save it before you can configure any Automation Rules. Each rule has either a child Decision or Automation Rule.
The system lets you verify that the Automation Rules are set up correctly. Right-click in the list of Automation Rules and select Validate Tree. The system displays a message that the automation rules are valid or displays an error message for troubleshooting.
