Adding or Editing a Treatment Job

A treatment job must be created and configured for collections purposes.

To Add or Edit a Treatment Job,

• Right-click in the Treatment Jobs section and select New.

  OR

  Right-click the existing treatment job and select Edit.

  This displays the Treatment Job form which contains two tabs. The Treatment Configuration tab is used to set up the treatment configuration options (such as workbook, included bill cycles, account types). The Job Configuration tab is used to configure the job itself (name, days to run, frequency, and so on).

  

• On the Treatment Configuration tab, enter the appropriate information.

  • Workbook - The name of the Treatment Workbook associated with the job.

  • Auto-Approve Actions - If Auto-Approve Actions is checked, the batch of actions created by the running of the workbook will immediately be set to approved without any manual intervention. The actions will then run via the Queue Processing job. The order the actions are performed depends on the priority of the jobs and the actions.

  • Priority - The Treatment Configuration priority determines the priority associated with the treatment job, so if there are multiple treatment jobs trying to create actions on customers, the higher priority takes precedence.

    For example, if a treatment job with priority 3 had created an action to hotline a customer, but then a treatment job with priority 5 came along and wanted to disconnect the customer, the hotline action would be canceled and the disconnect action would be left in the queue to eventually disconnect the customer.

  • Included Account Types - Included Account Types lets you limit your dataset to specific account types. At least one must be selected.

  • Included Bill Cycles - Included Bill Cycles lets you limit the number of returns based on bill cycles. At least one must be selected.

  • Included Collection Statuses - Included Collection Statuses lets you specify which statuses will be used for the treatment job.

• The Job Configuration tab lets you add/edit a scheduled job.
