Within Product Catalog, right-click in the appropriate folder and select New > AdvancePay Product. This displays the New AdvancePay Product window.

Main
Cost The Cost of an AdvancePay Product is used to calculate cost margins.
Category The Product Category is used to group similar items accounting, promotion, configuration, and reporting purposes. AdvancePay Products should be in a separate category. They should not be grouped with other product types.
Allow Concurrent Allow Concurrent lets you sell multiple blocks of usage that can be used during an active plan. For example, a customer purchases a block of 500 minutes. A week he later purchases a block of 300 minutes because he is going on a trip and will be using more than the original 500 minutes. If he purchased the second block as concurrent, all 800 minutes are available for his use immediately. If Allow Concurrent is not checked, the additional 300 minutes would not be available until after the first 500 minutes had expired (consecutive).
Exclusive Group An Exclusive Group ensures that redundant features do not get assigned to a service.
Related Items Folder The Related Items Folder designates an item as the trigger for a guided order and specifies the folder sequence to use during the order.
Provisioning
USOC The USOC is the Universal Service Order Code (based on the Bell system) that identifies the product or service.
Class of Service Class of Service is a custom setting that further identifies and classifies a product for billing. Examples include residential and business.
Prov. Company The Provisioning Company is used to identify which underling carrier is the providing service.
Default Status The Default Status is the default provisioning status of a product when assigned to an account.
