Working with Auto Renewal

Prev Next

With auto-renewal, customers have their AdvancePay plans and products renewed automatically as long as they have an established E-Pay account.

Auto-renewal does not involve a credit check which makes it attractive to a certain customer base.

An active E-Pay account is eligible for auto-renewal if the account:

  • is assigned a credit card (not LEC nor bank)

  • has an account description of Recurring

How Auto-Renewal Works

  • The customer chooses to re-purchase a specific AdvancePay product (plan or feature on a designated service) that is noted with a Favorite Price Point and has a current (unit) balance that is below the defined threshold. A favorite price point is a default price assigned to an AdvancePay product for the purpose of auto renewal

  • When this balance falls below the defined threshold, the customer's account is charged for a re-purchase of the designated AP product.

Credit checks are not performed with auto renewals, thus making this option attractive to a specific customer base.

    • is assigned a credit card (not LEC nor bank)

    • has an account description of Recurring

Auto Renewal allows you to designate an AdvancePay services(s) that are eligible for auto-renewal via scheduled jobs.

      Note

Auto-Renew requires an active recurring E-Pay credit account. You may be required to create a new E-Pay account or reactivate an existing E-Pay account if one does not already exist.

You will not be able to renew any AdvancePay services that are not associated with a 'Favorite' price point.
