To search the POS Product Catalog window and add a product to the Make Sale window:
Performing an Exact Match Search
In the Find Catalog Item section, if you know the Description, Starting Code, Equipment ID, UPC or SKU, enter it and click Search.
.Equipment ID
The ESN or MEID associated with the service's handset.
UPC
Universal Product Code (bar code). This criteria may be convenient to use if you have the actual product and a scanner with which to read the UPC.
SKU
A unique identifying number for a product. If you are looking for a specific product, package, discount, service, or pricing plan, enter that item's SKU.
The Make Sale Wizard Service Option window is displayed.

Performing a Partial Match Search
You can do a partial search by entering part of a number or name of a catalog item, or by typing an asterisk (*) to perform a wildcard search.
