Find Product

Click the down arrow on the right side to display and select the search criteria.

Any	This lets you enter a value without having to know whether the value is a SKU, Equipment ID, UPC, or Starting Code. The system will return all products whose SKU, Equipment ID, UPC, or Starting Code matches the entered value. Note: If your product criteria type is "Any" and the search value would match both a Starting Code and any other criteria type, only Starting Codes matching that criteria are listed. Other items matching the search value are not listed. You would have to specify the criteria type (such as SKU) to return those items.
Equipment ID	For serialized products, this is the product serial number, or SIM card number.
UPC	Universal Product Code (bar code). This criteria may be convenient to use if you have the actual product and a scanner with which to read the UPC.
SKU	Stock Keeping Unit code as entered when the product was added to the Product Catalog.
Starting Code	The Starting Code is a well-known value you can enter when making a sale to begin a particular Guided Assignment sales flow. Enter the Starting Code, if known. Wild cards can be used.

Use the edit box (or drop-down menu on the left side to enter (select) a search value.
Note
The list of criteria types is governed by your permissions. For example, if your permissions only allow you to enter Starting Codes and SKUs, then Any, Description, Equipment ID, and UPC are not displayed in the list.
Click the magnifying glass icon.
If the search finds one product that matches the criteria, that product is selected and you can continue with your task.
If several products are found, the POS Product Search window is displayed with a list of those products.
