Find Existing Child Equipment

If the Child Equipment exists in the inventory:

1. Right-click in the Child Equipment tab window and select Find Existing Equipment. This displays the Find Existing Child Equipment search window.

2. Enter the search criteria as described below:

   Search Criteria
   Equipment Name	Unique name of the child equipment.
   Equipment Type	Child's type of equipment.
   Equipment Status	Child equipment's status.
   Wire Center	Location from which service is being provided. This field is automatically populated from the Main tab.

3. Click Find. This displays a list of all equipment fitting the criteria in the Search Results area.

   Search Results
   Equipment ID	Unique identifier of the potential child equipment.
   Name	Name of the potential child equipment.
   Type	Type of the potential child equipment.
   Status	Status of the potential child equipment.

4. Check the appropriate child Equipment ID boxes and click Add to add the selected equipment as children.

   If you checked an Equipment ID in error, you can clear the check box before you click Add.
