Child Equipment Tab - Add Equipment

If the new equipment is to be the parent of another piece of equipment, add that equipment as Child Equipment.

Click on the Child Equipment tab.

The Child Equipment tab shortcut menu contains the following options.

Find Existing Equipment	Opens the Find Existing Child Equipment search window. See Find Existing Child Equipment.
Create New Equipment	Opens the Create New Child window so you can add a new piece of equipment to the Inventory as a child of the current piece of equipment. See Create New Child Equipment.
Dissociate Equipment	Deletes the relationship between the selected child equipment and the main equipment. This option is available once child equipment has been added to the list. See Dissociate Child Equipment.
Bulk Dissociate Equipment	Deletes the relationship between all of the listed child equipment and the main equipment. This option is available once child equipment has been added to the list. See Bulk Dissociate Child Equipment.

You cannot add Child Equipment to another Child Equipment from this window. To add "grandchild" equipment, you must save the current Child Equipment information, open that Child Equipment (as a "parent"), and add Child ("grandchild") Equipment from that window. You cannot create grandchildren equipment from this window, they must be created independently.

Note:
You cannot add Child Equipment to another Child Equipment.
