From the Applications menu select Inventory Management > Equipment Inventories > Equipment Types. This displays the list of Equipment Types.
Right-click on the equipment type you wish to change and select Edit or double click on the equipment type you wish to change. This displays the Edit Equipment Type dialog box.

Modify the information as necessary.
Note
Assignment Method, Has Addresses, and Allow Reassignment cannot be changed if the Equipment Type is in use.
Click Save to modify this entry in the Equipment Types table.
