Duplicating a Service in POS

From within a POS Make Sale or Makes Sales Request, you can add another service by "copying" an existing one.

To duplicate a Service in POS:

1. Access the order summary window, right-click and select Advanced > Duplicate Service.

2. This launches the Make Sale Wizard: Duplicate Service Page

3. Complete the information specific to the service you are duplicating:

   • Enter the quantity of duplicate services to create and add to the sale.

   • Select the method to assign the Service Number(s) to the duplicate services.

   • Select and copy and apply any attributes of the model service to the duplicated services if applicable.

   • Select and apply all of the On-the-Fly Retail Discounts that have been applied to the line items of the model service.

     Depending on the type of POS sales transaction being performed, the system prompts you for additional details that are specific to each duplicate service being created. These details include:

   • Entering the Equipment ID of the handset and/or the

   • SIM Card, if applicable, based on the service type and the characteristics of the model service being duplicated.

     Note:

     This will not occur in a Sales Request transaction when temporary Equipment IDs are used.
