Disconnecting Services

Prev Next

When you disconnect a service, the service number's inventory status changes to Aging. When the aging interval expires, the service number's inventory status changes to Available. If you disconnect a wireless service, the corresponding MIN's inventory status also changes to Aging, then changes to Available when the aging interval expires. When you disconnect a Ported-In service number, the service number is returned to the carrier that owns that number. Therefore, its inventory status changes to Not Available when the aging interval expires. If the disconnect date is in the future, the inventory status remains Assigned until the disconnect date occurs, at which time the inventory status changes to Aging and the aging interval begins.

To disconnect a customer and the related services:

  1. Click the Disconnect Date link in the Customer # window.
