The Dialed Number Translations table stores information about special dialed numbers, such as star numbers to a radio station (*1180 that terminates at WHAM). This information is used to create the proper usage type for wireless calls. This table can be used to set up numbers that are set up for special use. For example, these could be Airtime-free calls (such as calls to a police department or a number to a radio station.
To add, edit or delete Dialed Number Translation information:
Under Data Management double-click Dialed Number Translations. This displays the Dialed Number Translations table.

The Dialed Number Translations table contains the following information.
Front End ID
The 3-character Front End designation.
Dialed Number
Number the subscriber dials (such as *1180).
Term Number
Number that replaces the Dialed Number. This is generally the same as the dialed number, but may be different, if, for example, a temporary local directory number (TLDN) is assigned. This number is displayed on the subscriber's invoice (for example, 1180) instead of the Dialed Number (*1180)
Term Place
Location where the Term Number terminates (such as County Sheriff or Customer Care Office).
Usage Type
The IDI platform's usage type to be used for rating. Select the usage type from the list. Valid usage types include:
Airtime
Domestic Toll
Canadian Toll
International Toll
Voice Mail Retrieval
Wireless Directory Assistance
Wireless Operator Assistance
Toll Free Airtime
Incoming Airtime
M-M Airtime
M-M Incoming Airtime
Free Airtime
Description
(optional)Description of the dialed number translation. Can contain up to 80 characters.
