To require a CSA check for new services

  • Access Admin Console > Business Rules > Local Services > CostGuardService > POS.

  • Select the check box: Require CSA Check on New Services and click Save.

CSA Coverage

To view CSA Coverage for a region or Zip Code:

  • Access Applications > Back Office Management > Coverage Information > Coverage.

  • Complete one or more fields and click Search to find specific coverage information.

  • Right-click to display the Edit Coverage Information window.

To upload a CSA file

A CSA coverage file is a collection of geographic areas, defined by:

  • Zip Code

  • CSA Code (optional)

  • Coverage Indicator (optional or a designation such as full, partial, or none)

  • Region (optional, or a designation such as a Market)

    Finger Lakes

  • Zip Code is 14564 (Victor NY)

  • CSA Code is unassigned

  • Coverage Indicator is Full (This means that the entire 14564 area has coverage by the carrier)

  • Region is Finger Lakes (which could be the name of a Market).

    To upload a file:

  • Access Applications > Back Office Management > Coverage Information > Coverage File Upload. This displays the Coverage File Upload window.

  • Click the UG template for Help button and choose the appropriate file to upload.

  • Click Upload. The Upload Progress bar displays the process. When completed, a confirmation window is displayed.

CSA Coverage Indicators

Coverage Indicators are used to describe service coverage for an area, such as Full Coverage or Partial Coverage.

Access Access Applications > Back Office Management > Coverage Information > Coverage Indicators.

  • To add an indicator, right-click and select New. To edit an indicator, right-click it and select Edit.

  • Make necessary additions or changes.

  • Click Save.
