Company Returns are created from initial issue incollects and contain records that did not pass your company’s audits.
Each incoming batch must pass some validation. The system verifies that the SID/SID combination has a valid agreement during the call date of the record. If the SID/SID combination has a valid agreement, the record is considered valid.
If the SID/SID combination does not have a valid agreement, the record needs to be returned to the serving SID via the ARP. An Event (OnAfterReturn) notifies you that a Company Return has been created.
A Return file and the accompanying Transmittal file are created. They are placed in the Company Returns folder of the IDI Clearinghouse Service (\\serverName\InfoDirectionsNET\eFrameNET\Environments\environmentName\serverName_ClearingHouseService\Returns\CompanyReturns).
You can then check the file for accuracy. Once you validate that it is a Company Return, the files need to be moved to the Outgoing folder to be sent to the ARP.
From the Applications menu, select Clearinghouse Management > Returns. The Files - Returns data table is displayed.
Right-click on the appropriate Company Return file and select Return. A confirmation message stating that the file cannot not be processed is displayed.
Click OK. The Batch Sequence Number is added to the file and the file is moved to the
Outgoingfolder to be sent to the ARP. (\\serverName\InfoDirectionsNET\eFrameNET\Environments\environmentName\serverName_ClearingHouseService\Outgoing)
