Actions you can take to resolve the problem:
To see the cellsite location information that couldn’t be resolved: right-click the SPUN record, choose View Event Details, and find the raw cellsite information (Serving LAC and Serving CI in GSM, Serving CLLI in CDMA). This was not enough information to even attempt a lookup in the cellsite table.
If this rarely occurs, the CDR may be bad or malformed. If so, it can be left alone (it will eventually age and no longer be visible) - or it can be purged immediately if desired.
If this occurs regularly, contact IDI BCT. It’s possible that a software (parser) update is required.
If the usage record should be billed anyway, choose Override Rule on the usage record. If this is done frequently, consider a change to Unbillable Rules for this Unbillable Code. Note that ignoring lookup failures can have undesirable downstream repercussions including rating and discounting failures and poor invoice presentation.

Certain event types require serving cell site information. When such information is provided in the raw CDR, it must be intelligible. In this case, the parsed serving cellsite information does not make sense; it does not resolve to a cell site.
