The Bulk Address Validation Wizard opens on first page of the Validation Type. This page lets you specify which types of addresses to validate.
Addresses to include lets you choose the state of the addresses you want to validate.
Addresses that have not been validated fit one of the following:
The Required Validation Type is undetermined. Generally, this is after an upgrade or conversion to your system, before any addresses have been validated for the first time.
The Required Validation Type and the Actual Validation Type do not match. This would happen if, for example, the Required Validation Type were Enhanced Address Validation, but the Core Logic Web Service was unavailable when the address was validated and the IDI platform validated the address through the USPS system.
Addresses that are invalid are those the system attempted to validate and failed for one reason or another.
Checking Addresses that are invalid, lets you limit the number of invalid addresses to be validated based on the number of times validation has failed. Check the check box and enter the upper limit of failures in the and have not failed more than n times field. For example, you may already be working on addresses having failed validation more four times so you do not want to validate those at this time. Enter
3in the field to ignore them during the current bulk validation.
Addresses that are valid re-validates addresses that were previously successfully validated.
Address Validation Results - If you check Addresses that are invalid, the list of Address Validation Results becomes available. This lets you to further refine this option by choosing, for example, to only process addresses that failed due to an invalid city name.
Last Validation Date - Last Validation Date limits the number of addresses to be re-validated based on the most recent date validation occurred or was attempted.
Required Validation Type - Use the list on the Required Validation Type page to target only those addresses that require a specific type of validation
Once you have selected your options, click Next. This opens the Filter page.
