You can add more than one piece of equipment if they can be numbered sequentially. This is useful when adding equipment such cable pairs. The process is similar to adding a single piece of equipment.
To add equipment in a range:
From the Applications menu, select Inventory Management > Equipment Inventories > New Equipment Range. This displays the Add Equipment Range window. The fields for the window are the same as on the Main tab when adding a single piece of equipment with two additional fields.

Enter the beginning number of the range you want to add in the Number From field and the last number of the range in the To field.
Note:
These fields must be numeric.
Continue adding information to the fields as described in Adding a Single Piece of Equipment.
Click Save.
Note:
If you want a delimiter (such as a comma or a space or both) to separate the equipment name from the number in the range, include the delimiter in the Equipment Name field. For example, including both a comma and a space at the end of the Equipment Name, "CAPR282, " and adding the range Number From 1 To 5, the equipment is added with the following Equipment Names: "CAPR282, 1" "CAPR282, 2" "CAPR282, 3" "CAPR282, 4" "CAPR282, 5"
