To add/edit a Franchise or Region:
Access Applications > POS Back Office > Locations.
At the Global level:
To add a new location, right-click in the right side of the window and select New. Then select either Franchise or Region.
To edit an existing location, right click on the franchise or region and select Edit.

Enter a Name and Abbreviation for a new location or edit for an existing location if needed.
Make the word Franchise or Region part of the name. This helps identify it when you are performing configuration for other POS functionality. For example, use Finger Lakes Franchise, not just Finger Lakes.Choose whether to make the location active by checking or unchecking the Is Active check box.
Use the tabs to finish adding/editing the location. On all tabs, with the exception of the Contacts tab, you can choose to Inherit or Override the Global settings. The default is to inherit. In this case all fields other than as described above are disabled. Clicking the Override radio button enables the field to let you enter location-specific settings.

The available fields on each tab are the essentially the same as when editing the Global location, with very few exceptions.
Order Types and Online Agent tabs are not applicable for Franchises and Regions
The General Options tab for Franchises and Regions does not include email-related fields.
