You can only add a new record to the MSAG table from the MSAG Search Results window.
Note
This requires the MSAG Add permission.
To add a new record to the MSAG table:
Right-click any row in the MSAG Search Results window and select New. This displays the Add MSAG window.

OR
If you want to copy of an existing record to avoid entering the same data twice, right-click the MSAG record you want to copy and select New (Copy Row). This displays the Add MSAG window and the input fields are populated with the data from the selected MSAG record.

The Add MSAG window provides the following input fields:
Street Number
Low (required)
Each MSAG record contains a range of street numbers. Enter the lowest street number associated with this MSAG record.
High (required)
Each MSAG record contains a range of street numbers. Enter the highest street number associated with this MSAG record.
Odd/Even
If the MSAG record applies to all street numbers in the specified Low/High range, select B from the drop-down list.
If the MSAG record only applies to the odd street numbers in the specified Low/High range, select O from the drop-down list.
If the MSAG record only applies to the even street numbers in the specified Low/High range, select E from the drop-down list.
Note
The default is B (both).
Street Name
Direction Prefix
Select a street directional prefix from the drop-down list, if applicable.
Name (required)
Enter the name of the street.
Type
Select the street type from the drop-down list, if applicable.
Direction Suffix
Select the street directional suffix from the drop-down list, if applicable.
Other
Community Name
(required)Select a community name from the drop-down list.
State (required)
Enter the 2-character state abbreviation.
County ID
(required)Select a county from the drop-down list.
TAR Code
Enter the TAR (Taxing Area Rate) Code assigned to the county selected above.
ESN
Enter the emergency service number for this MSAG record.
PSAP ID
Enter the PSAP ID assigned to the Public Safety Answering Point associated with this MSAG record.
MSAG Provider
(required)Select the MSAG provider that supplied the data for this MSAG record.
Make any necessary changes and/or add the appropriate information.
Click Save to create a new MSAG record. The following confirmation window is displayed.

Click OK. The Add MSAG window is closed and the new record is added to the MSAG table.
Note
If the new MSAG record matches the search criteria associated with the records currently displayed in the MSAG Search Results window, this window is updated to include the new MSAG record.
