An MSAG Search capability is provided that enables you to search the MSAG table for records that meet a specified set of search criteria.
From the MSAG Search Results window, you can add, modify, and delete MSAG records, by right-clicking in the MSAG Search Results window and selecting the desired function.

These require the applicable MSAG permissions.
To initiate an MSAG search:
On the Applications menu, click BackOffice Management > MSAG Management > MSAG Search. This displays the MSAG Search window.

Enter the desired search criteria and click Search.
Street Name
If you want MSAG records that contain a specific Street Name, enter the desired Street Name.
Note
Wildcards (*) may be used.
Community Name
If you want MSAG records that contain a specific Community Name, select the desired Community Name from the drop-down list.
State
If you want MSAG records that contain a specific State, enter the desired State abbreviation.
Note
Wildcards (*) may be used.
County ID
If you want MSAG records that contain a specific County ID, select the desired County ID from the drop-down list.
User Modified
If you only want MSAG records that have been manually modified by a person, check the User Modified check box.
MSAG Provider
If you want MSAG records that contain a specific MSAG Provider, select the desired MSAG Provider from the drop-down list.
This displays the MSAG Search Results window.

Only those MSAG records that match the specified search criteria are returned in the search results.
Direction Prefix
Street directional prefix - N, S, E, W, NE, NW, SE, or SW.
This field is blank if the street does not have a directional prefix.
Street Name
Name of street.
Street Type
Type of street - ST, RD, DR, AVE, LN, CIR, PL, etc.
This field is blank if the street does not have a street type.
Direction Suffix
Street directional suffix - N, S, E, W, NE, NW, SE, or SW.
This field is blank if the street does not have a directional suffix.
Low Range
Each MSAG record contains a range of street numbers. This field contains the lowest street number in that range.
High Range
Each MSAG record contains a range of street numbers. This field contains the highest street number in that range.
Odd Even
Indicates whether this MSAG record applies to all street numbers, only odd street numbers, or only even street numbers within the specified Low and High Range:
B - MSAG record applies to all street numbers within the specified Low and High Range.
O - MSAG record only applies to the odd street numbers within the specified Low and High Range.
E - MSAG record only applies to the even street numbers within the specified Low and High Range.
Community Name
Name of the community where the addresses defined by this MSAG record exist.
State
State where the addresses defined by this MSAG record exist.
County ID
ID assigned to the county where the addresses defined by this MSAG record exist.
TAR Code
TAR (Taxing Area Rate) Code assigned to the county where the addresses defined by this MSAG record exist.
ESN
Emergency service number.
User Modified
Identifies whether or not this MSAG record was manually modified by a user:
True - a user manually modified this MSAG record.
False - this MSAG record has never been manually modified by a user.
Note
Once an MSAG record is modified by a user, it always considered to be a User Modified record from that point forward.
Last Modified
Date and time this MSAG record was last modified, regardless of how it was modified (either manually or automatically via MSAG File Upload).
User ID
User ID assigned to the user that last modified this MSAG record:
If the last modification to this MSAG record was the result of an MSAG File Upload, this contains the User ID of the user that initiated that upload.
If the last modification to this MSAG record was a manual modification, this contains the User ID of the user that manually modified this record.
MSAG Provider
Identifies the MSAG Provider that supplied the data for this MSAG record.
Note
MSAG Provider is manually selected when an MSAG file is uploaded and when a user manually adds or modifies an MSAG record.
MSAG ID
Unique ID the system assigns to an MSAG record when it is added to the MSAG table.
Note
If no search criteria are specified, all MSAG records are returned in the search results.
