Occasionally, you may need to void a batch file. If you have more transactions you would like to add to the batch file, or if there are errors in some transactions, you can void it and create another. Doing this will reset the associated pending transactions and allow you to create a new batch file.
You cannot void the batch file once payments have been posted (or submitted to the authorizing company).
To void a batch file:
Right-click the batch file you wish to void and select Void File. The file is automatically voided.

Note
Though the Batch Files window does not display confirmation boxes to tell you that the file has been voided, the bottom right corner of the .NET window will show a status of “sending” while the request is being processed. A status of “ready” is displayed when the request has been completed.

To verify that a file has been voided, click the Refresh button at the top of the window. The File Status column displays a status of Void if the request was completed without errors.
