UG template for Help

The Jobs for Service # form displays the following information:

Job ID

System generated. Unique ID assigned to each job.

Name

Name of the job.

Start Date

Defaults to today’s date and time. The date the job started running. The Start Date is a date that is the same as or before the End Date.

If Start Date is checked, the automatic execution frequency is synchronized to that time/date.

If Start Date is unchecked, the job runs as soon as the service can start it and then periodically from that point.

If Start Date is unchecked, there is no defined beginning to the scheduling time form; for example, the job automatically runs as soon as enabled.

End Date

Defaults to today’s date and time. The date and time the job scheduler no longer executes the job automatically; end of the scheduling period. The Start Date is a date that is the same as or before the End Date.

If End Date is unchecked, there is no defined end to the scheduling time form; for example, the job automatically runs as long as Enabled.

Frequency

How often the job is run.

Status

Current status of the service.

Priority

Level of priority of the job. Priority levels are High, Normal and Low.

Log Errors Only

If checked, the system logs error messages. Specifies whether only errors should be logged when a job is run. If left unchecked a new history record is created each time the job runs.

User Name

Name of the user.

Once a Scheduling Service starts, changes to this field are ignored until the next time the service is started.

Last Modified

Date the job schedule was last modified.
