Viewing Bulk Equipment Change Sheets

To view Change Sheets for a Bulk Equipment Change:

  1. From either the Bulk Equipment Inventory Changes - Pending Queue window or the Bulk Equipment Inventory Changes - Search Results window, double-click the desired Bulk Equipment Inventory Change. This displays the Bulk Equipment Inventory Change Sheets window for the selected Bulk Equipment Change.

    The Bulk Equipment Inventory Change Sheets window contains the following information.

    Change Sheets

    Rank

    Order in which the change sheets are to be worked. 1 being first, 2 second, etc.

    Sheet Number

    Identifier of the change sheet.

    Description

    A description of the work involved in the change sheet.

    Status

    Status of the change sheet. Valid statuses are Completed and In Progress.

    Estimated Due Date

    Date the work associated with the change sheet is expected to be done.

    Icons in the first column are an indicator of the status of the change sheet detail.

    Yellow check mark: Pending.

    Red circle enclosing a white X: Order Failed Submission.

    Black check mark: Order Submitted.

    Green check mark: Completed.

    Order in which the change sheet detail is to be worked. 1 being first, 2 second, etc.

    Route ID

    Identifier of the line card route.

    Service Address

    Service address of the line card route.

    Status

    Status of the change sheet detail. Valid statuses:

    • Pending: An order has not been submitted.

    • Order Failed Submission: The order was not able to be submitted.

    • Order Submitted: The order was submitted, but the route change has not been committed.

    • Completed: The route change has been committed.

    Order ID

    Number of the order if the change sheet detail has a status of Order Submitted or Completed.

    Order Type

    Kind of order if the change sheet detail has a status of Order Submitted or Completed.

    Account Number

    Customer account number of the associated line card route.

You can change the rank in which the change sheets are done.

  1. In the change sheets area, select the change sheet whose order you want to change.

  2. Click the up arrow to move it higher in the list. Or click the down arrow to move it lower in the list.

    The shortcut menu in the Change Sheets area has the following options.

    Edit

    Opens the Edit Bulk Equipment Change Sheet window.

    Note:

    This is visible only if you right-click on a change sheet.

    Delete

    Displays a confirmation message. If you confirm the deletion, the Bulk Equipment Change record with all of its Change Sheets and Change Sheet Details is removed and the equipment status is updated accordingly.

    Notes:

    • If any Change Sheet Detail records have been completed or have had an order submitted, the Bulk Equipment Change CANNOT be deleted.

    • This is visible only if you right-click on a change sheet.

    Create Orders

    Creates orders for the related change sheet details whose status is "Pending" and changes their status(es) to "Order Submitted" or, if there was a problem, "Order Failed Submission."

    Note:

    This is visible only if you right-click on a change sheet.

    Commit Route Changes

    Changes the status of the related change sheet details from "Order Submitted" to "Completed."

    Note:

    This is visible only if you right-click on a change sheet and at least one of the change sheet details has status of Order Submitted.

    Print Change Sheet

    Opens the Run Report window to create a report of all the related change sheet details whose status is "Pending."

    Note:

    This is visible only if you right-click on a change sheet.

    New

    Opens the Add Bulk Equipment Change Sheet window to add a new change sheet. See Adding a Change Sheet.

You can change the order (rank) in which the change sheet details are done.

  1. In the change sheet details area, select the change sheet detail whose order you want to change.

    Edit

    Opens the Route Equipment Change Wizard on the Route Equipment Modifications window for the selected route.

    Note:

    This is visible only if you right-click on a route whose status is "Pending."

    Delete

    Displays a confirmation message. If you confirm the deletion, the change sheet detail is removed from the list and the equipment status is updated accordingly.

    Notes:

    • If the change sheet detail has been completed or has had an order submitted, the change sheet detail CANNOT be deleted.

    • This is visible only if you right-click on a route whose status is "Pending" or "Order Failed Submission."

    Create Order

    Creates an order for the selected change sheet detail and changes the status to "Order Submitted" or, if there was a problem, "Order Failed Submission."

    Note:

    This is visible only if you right-click on a route whose status is Pending" or "Order Failed Submission."

    Commit Route Change

    Changes the status of the change sheet detail to "Completed" and updates the statuses of the affected equipment.

    Note:

    This is visible only if you right-click on a route whose status is "Order Submitted."

    Cancel Order

    Displays a confirmation message. If you choose to confirm the cancellation of the order, the equipment statuses revert to the previous status.

    Note:

    This is visible only if you right-click on a route whose status is "Order Submitted."

    View Customer

    Opens the customer record on the Summary tab.

    View Service

    Opens the customer record on the Catalog Items tab with the service highlighted.

    View Line Card

    Opens the line card window of the service.

    Commit Route Change

    Changes the status of the related change sheet details from "Order Submitted" to "Completed."

    Note:

    This is visible only if you right-click on a route whose status is "Order Submitted."

    New

    Opens the Route Equipment Change Wizard.
