Trouble tickets are indicated by a flag in the first column on the Journals tab. The color of the flag indicates the severity of the problem being reported.
Icon | Color | Icon Definitions |
| Red | Typically indicates the most severe status, but can be customized to represent a different status. |
| Yellow | A work-around is available, immediate attention is required. |
| Green | Indicates a closed trouble ticket, but can be customized to represent other statuses in addition to “closed”.

| Orange | Trouble ticket is due today. |
Note
The flag colors for Trouble Tickets are unique to your company's definition. Other flag colors can include blue, purple, white, and black.
The Journal Class column identifies the type of trouble ticket. It contains one of the following values:
Trouble | Customer-related trouble ticket with no Child trouble tickets assigned to it. |
Parent Trouble | Customer-related trouble ticket with Child trouble tickets assigned to it. |
Child Trouble | Customer-related trouble ticket that is linked to a Parent trouble ticket |
Global Trouble | Trouble ticket that applies to more than one customer and has no Child trouble tickets assigned to it |
Parent Global Trouble | Trouble ticket that applies to more than one customer and has no Child trouble tickets assigned to it |
Child Global Trouble | Trouble ticket that applies to more than one customer and is linked to a Parent trouble ticket |
Stand Alone Trouble | Trouble ticket that does not apply to a customer and has no Child trouble tickets assigned to |
Parent Stand Alone Trouble | Trouble ticket that does not apply to a customer and has Child trouble tickets assigned to it |
Child Stand Alone Trouble | Trouble ticket that does not apply to a customer and is linked to a Parent trouble ticket |
