Quantity - The Quantity Tier Unit Type bases the discount on the number of items purchased. For example, the customer must purchase two accessories to receive the designated tier discount.
Total Charges - The Total Charges Unit Type bases the amount of the discount on the final sale total. For example, the customer must spend $40.00 to receive the discount.

Rolling - The rolling tier type calculates the discount using each tier level and adding the resulting discounts together. For each tier level, you define the range of that tier and its Discount Value.
For example, the first tier's discount is $5.00 for one to three accessories purchased and the second tier's discount is $10.00 for four or more accessories purchased. If the customer purchased six accessories, the discount would total $15.00. If the customer purchased one or two accessories, the discount would total $5.00.
The Rolling Tier Type is used with the Quantity Tier Unit Type only.
Single - The single tier type calculates the discount applied using the Discount Value of the highest qualifying tier. For each tier level, you define the range of that tier and its Discount Value.
For example, the first tier's discount is $5.00 for one to three accessories purchased and the second tier's discount is $10.00 for four or more accessories purchased. If the customer purchases six accessories, the discount would be $10.00. If the customer purchased two accessories, the discount would be $5.00.
The Single Tier Type can be used for both the Quantity and Total Charges Tier Unit Types.
