Third Party Verification Response Files

In order to view the status of TPV response files, TPV must be enabled under Security > Profiles > Permission Profiles > Application > CostGuard Client > Customer Management in your Permission Profile. To view the status of TPV response files:

  1. On the Applications menu, click Customer Management > Third Party Verification > View TPV Response Files. This displays the Third Party Verification Response Files window.

    The Third Party Verification Response Files window displays the following status information for all TPV response files that have a Load Date that falls within the past 30 days from the current date:

    File ID

    Unique ID assigned to the TPV response file.

    File Name

    Name of the TPV response file received from the independent third party.

    Creation Date

    Date the independent third party created the TPV response file.

    Load Date

    Date the IDI platform processed the TPV response file.

    Item Count

    Number of TPV requests that were included in the TPV response file.

    Processed

    Yes - All TPV requests were successfully processed. Item Count is the number of TPV requests that were successfully processed.

    No - TPV response file was unreadable and no TPV requests were processed. Item Count is 0.

    Partially - An error occurred and the IDI platform could not process all of the TPV requests. Item Count indicates how many TPV requests were successfully processed.

  1. To view the status of TPV response files that fall within a different date range, enter the desired date range in the input fields provided at the top of the Third Party Verification Response Files window.

  2. Click Refresh. The Third Party Verification Response Files window is updated with status information for all TPV response files that have a Load Date that falls within the specified date range.

  3. Click OK to exit this function.

Response File Folders

When the TPV application is installed on your system, three folders (In, Done, and Errors) are automatically created in the following directory:

InfoDirectionsNET > eFrameNET > Environments > environment name > environment name_BackgroundProcesses >TPV Import

These folders are used by the TPV background process to store the verification response files received from 3PV’s system. The following table describes what is stored in each folder.

In

The system administrator moves all verification response files received from 3PV’s system into this folder. The TPV background process monitors this folder for the existence of new files to be processed.

Note

Moving the response files into this folder is a manual step that must be performed by your system administrator.

Done

Location where the TPV background process stores the verification response files that were successfully processed.

Errors

Location where the TPV background process stores the verification response files that resulting an error and could not be completely and successfully processed. Examples of such errors:

Error opening verification file for reading

Invalid XML

Error contacting the object engine

Error starting up TPV background processes

Database errors

A .log file is also created in this folder for every verification file received, regardless of whether or not an error occurred.
