CLECs are required by law to have an independent 3rd party verify residential subscribers' requests to change their telecommunications service provider (local, long distance, and/or local toll). The IDI platform currently supports one 3rd party vendor - Third Party Verification, Inc., referred to as 3PV.
In order to submit third party verification (TPV) requests to 3PV, you must first set up an account with 3PV. Once your account is set up, perform the following steps from the Admin. Console to configure the IDI platform interface to 3PV's server.
Under Business Rules > Local Services > ObjectEngine > ServerName_ObjectEngine > Third Party Verification, double-click 3PV Settings.
The 3PV Settings window is displayed.
The 3PV Settings window provides the following input fields:
Version
Enter the version number of the TPV request files you will be transmitting to 3PV.

This field is required.
Vendor
Enter the unique Vendor ID 3PV assigned to your company.
Notes:
3PV provides this number.
This field is required.
Site
If you have multiple sites submitTPV request files, enter a text string that identifies the site that created them.
Server IP Address
Enter the IP address assigned to 3PV's server.
Notes:
3PV provides this number.
This field is required.
TCP/IP Port
Enter the port number assigned to 3PV's TCP/IP port that will be used to receive TPV request files from the IDI platform.

This field is required.
Click Save to complete the 3PV interface configuration.
