Tempus PaymentMate requires that specific Service Names be added for each tender type and also for E-Pay. The tender type configuration should be completed from the POS Back Office Register Policies. The information for E-Pay accounts is added via Admin Console. See Enhanced PCI Configuration see below.
RetailNET ID - RetailNET ID associated with your company's payment gateway account as provided by Tempus.
RetailNET Certificate - RetailNET certificate associated with your company's payment gateway as provided by Tempus.
Target URL - Target URL endpoint for the payment gateway.
OnlineBill Transparent Redirect URL - Target URL redirect for the payment gateway. Used by OnlineBill. This setting is ignored for E-Pay accounts.
Enable PaymentMate Smart Node Integration - Determines whether the register should use the PaymentMate Smart Node for POS transactions. Default: Yes. This setting does not apply to E-Pay accounts.
Note
Changing this to No has the following effects:
You cannot accept electronic signatures
You cannot accept PIN debit cards
You cannot electronically scan check payments
All data must be entered manually using IDI Desktop Client screens.
PaymentMate Smart Node Timeout - Number of seconds the IDI platform waits for authorization responses from the PaymentMate Smart Node. This setting does not apply to E-Pay accounts or OnlineBill.
Note
Use TransArmor Token - When Use TransArmor Token is set to Yes, the TransArmor token will be passed (if available) to Tempus. Smart Node (one-time transactions) are unaffected by TransArmor. The following scenarios define how the TransArmor token may be applied:
Customer Management E-Pay - Create New Credit Card E-Pay Account
When you create a new credit card account in Customer Management and Tempus provides a TransArmor token, that token will be associated to the E-Pay account in the IDI platform.
Customer Management E-Pay - Edit Credit Card E-Pay Account
When you edit and existing credit card account in Customer Management and Tempus provides a TransArmor token, that token will be associated to the E-Pay account in the IDI platform.
Customer Management E-Pay - Make Onetime Charge
When you perform a Make Onetime Charge on a credit card account, the TransArmor token (if available) will be passed to Tempus.
Customer Management E-Pay - Make Onetime Credit
When you perform a Make Onetime Credit on a credit card account, the TransArmor token (if available) will be passed to Tempus.
POS Save Account Credit Card Transaction (non Smart-Node)
When you choose to save a credit card account in POS, the solution will associate the TransArmor token with the saved account if passed in from Tempus.
Enable CoF Functionality This setting enables the IDI platform to honor Tempus Visa and MasterCard requirements for credentials on file for credit card transactions. Recognizing stored credential transactions allows for greater visibility into the transaction risk, enabling robust processing and differential treatment. Authorization rules have been defined to help identify initial storage and usage of stored payment credentials to enable differentiated processing. Fines may apply and decline responses may increase if the established rules are not followed.
When enabled, the IDI platform will obtain and store an OriginalNetworkTransactionID for the following scenarios (if one isn’t already present in the Database):
Creating a new E-Pay account in Customer Management or through POS
Updating Card information in Customer Management, POS or OnlineBill
Processing a charge to an existing E-Pay account in Customer Management, POS or OnlineBill
Processing recurring monthly payments
Processing E-Pay payments in Customer Care (Note: Support for Tempus in Customer Care is new with this release.)
