Roaming Partners

The IDI platform uses the term “Roaming Partner” to designate a carrier that your company has an agreement with to transmit calls when a subscriber initiates a call from an area that is not part of his home SID. The Roaming Agreements assigned to a Roaming Partner determine the prices charged for outcollects to that carrier.

To view Roaming Partners:

1. From the Applications menu, select BackOffice Management > Roaming > Roaming Partners. This displays the Roaming Partners window.

   

   The Roaming Partners window contains the following information:

   	A green check mark indicates that the carrier name of all the associated Partner SIDs/PMNs is the same as the roaming partner's customer name (Partner Name). A yellow check mark indicates that the carrier name of one or more Partner SIDs/PMNs is NOT the same as the roaming partner's customer name (Partner Name).
   Partner Acct #	The IDI account number assigned to the Roaming Partner.
   Partner Name	The name of the roaming partner as entered in the IDI platform.
   Establish Date	The date the account was established in the IDI platform.
   Disconnect Date	The date the account was disconnected.
   Acct Type	The type of account, such as Business.
   Acct Status	The status of the account. Default = Active.
   Roaming Agreement	Type of wireless technology (GSM or CDMA/TDMA).
