There are several permissions in security for governing access to Product Catalog functions.
Allow Log On - Controls whether users can access the Product Catalog landing page.
Manage SKU Association - Controls access to view SKU Associations used by the web provisioning application. The Product Catalog serves as the repository for Provisionable Object Definitions (PODs). PODs are used in Provisioning to represent the items (SKUs) to be provisioned on a network. PODs are configured and managed using the Provisioning application. No user involvement is required in the Product Catalog.
Manage E-Rate - Controls whether users can create and edit FRNs, search and view FRNs, manually log utilization against FRNs, and create the 474 file for reimbursement.
Manage Paperless Billing Incentive - Controls whether you can manage the Paperless Billing Incentive.
Manage Starting Blocks – Controls whether users can add, edit, or delete starting blocks.
Manage Protection Plan Profiles – Controls whether users can add, edit, or delete protection plan profiles.
Manage Broadband Labels - Controls whether users can configure (add/edit) broadband labels, associate a broadband label to an existing SKU that resides in the IDI Desktop Client Product Catalog, and download a CSV file of all your active broadband labels in the Product Catalog.
Manage Offering - This is not currently active and will support future functionality.
Manage Billing Taxes Calculator - Controls whether users can use this function to validate addresses and specify billing scenarios to calculate the taxes due.
Manage Pricing Zones - required for adding, editing, and deleting pricing zones.
Manage Service Qualification - required for creating, editing, and deleting qualification tags.
These permissions are available with the Product Catalog Admin role in Security.
