The Peak Tier Type window lets you specify how usage is to be measured for Dynamic Products (charge discounts).

None - Charge is not based on peak usage.
True Peak - Customer is charged based on the highest recorded value during the bill period.
Percentile Peak - Customer is charged based on the percentile method of billing (burstable billing). Field Value: decimal amount, such as .95.
Averaged Peak - All readings for the bill period are averaged and the customer is charged based on the resulting value.
Note
When the contributing and eligible factors are different, the tier value is applied to the total eligible units, not the peak units.
