The Service Catalog Group Charge Detail optional XML report lets you group recurring and non-recurring charges for services by product catalog group. The report provides the details of the recurring and non-recurring charges for a service. The report has flexibility to configure multiple product catalog groups for selection and provide separate sections and totals for each product catalog group. Setup is required to use the new report.
Setup
Enable the Report for the Applicable Invoice Format
The report must be enabled for the applicable invoice format(s). This setting is not available to CostGuard users and must be completed by an authorized IDI associate in Admin Console Business Rules:
Business Rules > Local Services > RateBill > server_RateBill > Invoice Formats > format > Optional Reports
Data Management Setup
Also, users will be required to add a Product Catalog Group Class of Service Catalog Group XML and associate it to one or more product catalog groups in Admin Console Data Management. The report output will be grouped by product catalog groups associated to this class.
How the Report Works
When selected for an invoice format, this report will include details for product charges in invoice XML. The hierarchy for the grouping will be by service as follows:

Other: any recurring product charges not included in a product catalog group configured for the report

The product catalog groupings represent product catalog groups with a product catalog group class of Service Catalog Group XML. The report will group each product catalog group separately and can support any number of groups.
Totals will be provided for each level in the hierarchy, with separate totals for each product catalog group and a separate total for Other (when applicable).

Contract information will be included when applicable. In the case of multiple active contracts, the most recent active contract will be included.

Note that if a product is in more than one product catalog group that is configured for the report, it will be included in only one group. The group it will be included in will be the first one based on alphabetical sorting of the product catalog group name.
