There are currently two web services that can be used to manage journals, tickets, and follow-ups. Newer operations will be found in the REST service as we convert the journal API from SOAP to REST.
Journal Service
Purpose:
Provides the ability to create and modify journal items such as journals, follow-ups, and tickets.
Protocol: SOAP

Journal Management Service
Purpose:
The Journal Management Service provides developers with a REST API to manage Journals, Follow-Ups, and Tickets. This includes managing Follow-up Reminders, creating journals as well as updating a tickets status, and closing and resolving a ticket.
