To search for Journals:
Select Applications > Customer Management > Journal Search from the menus. This displays the Journal Search window.
Select the desired search criteria by selecting the appropriate check boxes and drop-down list options.
Click Search. This displays the Search Results window.
Note
Only accounts matching the User Limit-To profile of the user will be shown in the results. If you try to access an account that does not belong to your User Limit-To profile, an error messge is displayed and the account will not open.
Fields
1st column - Graphical indication of Journal Class. A paper clip icon indicates a Journal Entry.
2nd column - Textual indication of Journal Class,
Journal Class - Journal, Follow-up or Trouble Ticket.
Journal Type - Journal Type further categorizes journal entries within their Journal Group. The following Journal Types are provided by the system and cannot be modified or deleted:

Reference To - Customer account number or order number. (read-only)
Description - First few words of the journal Description. Click a row to see its complete description in Description section below the list.
Assigned To - The individual or group assigned to this entry.
Action Date - Date the entry was opened.
Journal Status - Status of the entry.
Entered By - User ID of the user that made the entry.
Entry Date - Date the entry was entered into the system.
Close Date - Date the entry was closed.
Closed By - User ID of the user that closed the entry.
ID - System-generated ID for the entry.
