This release (AR 7922) integrates Fortegra as a viable handset protection vendor in CostGuard. The Fortegra File Export scheduled job processes the Active Subscriber File (ASF). This file contains all active, insured subscribers. The file format is csv where the first row contains the field names as listed in Field Mapping below, separated by a comma. This is followed by a comma-delimited record for each service number with an active handset insurance product. The file naming convention is: RegionalCarrierName_yyyyMMdd_hhmmss.csv

The Scheduled Job
The Fortegra File Export scheduled job creates a csv file in the above format.

This job creates a file with a record for each service that has a handset insurance product assigned to it.
The Fortegra export file is written in the FileProcessing\Fortegra\Export subdirectory on the CostGuard application server.

Setup
A service request is needed to set up the data feed to send the daily extract file to Fortegra.
Product Catalog
Fortegra Insurance products must be set up in the Product Catalog with a product class of Handset Insurance.
Note:
If you were previously using eSecuritel handset insurance products, those products must be end-dated.
Services
A Fortegra handset insurance product must be added to each service with handset insurance for it be included correctly in the new Fortegra file format.
Scheduled Job Setup
The new Fortegra File Export job is delivered in a Not Running status and must be enabled. The initial job settings can be modified to meet specific user requirements.
Parameters:

Default Country Code: Used as the country code in the extract records. Defaults to USA.
Regional Carrier Name: Unused in the file name. It defaults to blank, and must be set to a value prior to the first run. (RegionalCarrierName_yyyyMMdd_hhmmss.csv).
Note:
Running without setting this parameter will result in the job failing.
