Your company must be licensed for equipment inventory. In addition, Equipment Inventory permissions are required for actions in Inventory Management and on customer records. These permissions are set up in Admin Console under Security.
The following permission profiles must be set up in Admin Console:
From Administration Console, expand Security > Profiles > Permissions.
Open your permission profile and then Application > CostGuard Client
Ensure that the following flags (and their children) are enabled in order to manage your Equipment Inventory.
Customer Management > Catalog Items > Line Cards
Inventory Management > Bulk Equipment Change
Inventory Management > Equipment Inventory
Inventory Management > Equipment Import Settings (only if your company maintains your inventory outside the IDI platform)
