When a user in a group that is configured to Require CPNI Verification Dialog, the CPNI Verification dialog will open prior to opening the account.

Checking the Deny Access to Unverified Accounts option will prevent the account from opening if the user does not verify CPNI information. The user will be returned to the Account Search page.

  • CPNI Verification Fields - This section lets you select the fields used for CPNI verification. The default configuration will match the fields displayed in the CPNI Verification dialog prior to IDI platform version 18.10 (Account Password, Security Question/Answer, Authorized User Password, Authorized Users, CPNI PIN).

You can select any combination of fields. At least one field must be checked to save the setting.

Options for Shielding CPNI From Users Until Verification

You can ensure account information (other than an account number and account name) in Customer Care is obscured until the CPNI verification is done.

  • Account Password Prompt - Prompts for the CPNI Account Password without displaying the password value. A successful verification requires the entered password match the CPNI account password stored for the account (case sensitive).

  • Security Question/Answer Prompt - Prompts for the answer to the CPNI Security Question without displaying the answer. A successful verification requires the entered answer match the CPNI security question answer stored for the account (not case sensitive).

These setting can be used in combination with other verification settings as needed.
