Once the work in the field has been done, commit the route changes to update the statuses of the equipment on the routes and in the equipment inventory. You can commit route changes at the change sheet level or at the change sheet detail level.
To commit route changes at the change sheet level:
Right-click the change sheet and select Commit Route Changes. This displays a message asking for confirmation to commit the changes to all the routes associated with the selected change sheet.
Click Yes to commit the changes. The following statuses are updated:
The status of the change sheet updates from In Progress to Completed.
The statuses of all the change sheet details update from Order Submitted to Completed.
The "removed" equipment on the line card routes is deleted.
The statuses of the added equipment are changed from Assigned to Assigned (In Use) on the line card routes.
The statuses of the removed equipment are changed from Assigned (In Use) to Available in the equipment inventory.
The statuses of the added equipment are changed from Assigned to Assigned (In Use) in the equipment inventory.
To commit route changes at the change sheet detail level:
Right-click the change sheet detail (route) and select Commit Route Change. This displays a message asking for confirmation to commit the change to the route.
Click Yes to commit the change. The following statuses are updated:
The status the change sheet detail updates from Order Submitted to Completed.
The "removed" equipment on the line card route is deleted.
The statuses of the added equipment are changed from Assigned to Assigned (In Use) on the line card route.
The statuses of the removed equipment are changed from Assigned (In Use) to Available in the equipment inventory.
The statuses of the added equipment are changed from Assigned to Assigned (In Use) in the equipment inventory.
