E911 Company ID and Name
This information is unique to each carrier and is provided by the PSAP. It is used when generating an E911 update file.
In Admin Console under Business Rules, navigate to Local Services > Background Processes > Server > E911 Configuration, and then enter the carrier's Company ID and Name.
Note
Currently this table only allows for a single value in each field. Some carriers (due to mergers/acquisitions) may have multiple and at this time, ConstGuard does not support this. If multiple E911 Company IDs and Names are needed, carriers will need to manually manipulate the exported E911 file down stream to ensure it has the correct values.
Default MSAG Provider ID
This step is optional, and only required if the carrier intends to drop MSAG files directly into the import folder rather than using the BackOffice Management GUI for this purpose. This setting specifies the MSAG Provider to use when manually droping files as this process does not allow users to select a specific MSAG provider (as is the case when done via the GUI).
In Admin Console under Business Rules, navigate to Local Services > Background Processes > Server > MSAG Configuration, and then enter the Default Provider ID.
Note
This must be one of the MSAG Providers listed in the MSAG Data Management table.
