A Distributor is a supplier who is designated to provide a specific retail product. To add a distributor for a specific product:
From the Distributor Tab, double-click the row of the Location for which you want to add a distributor. This displays the Distributors for [product] window.
Click Override values.
Right-click in the center of the window and select New.This displays the Add Distributor window.
This field is required. Select a Distributor name from the drop-down list.
Specify:
Cost - The price at which a retail product is bought from the supplier. This field is required.
Lead Time - The number of days that it takes to get a product from a supplier.
Part Number - A unique identifying number of a product.
Click Save to add this Distributor to the list.
