You can set a Limit-To on a folder in two ways:
Use the New Limit-To Wizard.
Select an existing InfoScript.
New Limit-To Wizard
The New Limit-To Wizard creates a new InfoScript that can be used to set Limit-To's on any folder.
Click Applications > Product Management > Product Catalog. The Product Catalog window is displayed.
Right-click the desired folder and select Limit To Configuration > New Limit To Wizard. A window opens with an input field for the name of the InfoScript you are going to create.

Enter a descriptive name and click OK. The Assignment Level Limit-To window is displayed.

Select the level at which the catalog items in the folder should be assigned.
Both customer and service level
The Wizard will step through screens that cover both the customer level and the service number level.
Customer level only
The Wizard will step through screens that cover only the customer level.
Service level only
The Wizard will step through screens that cover only the service number level.
Will use one or more existing limit tos
Selecting this option will bring you to a page in the Limit To wizard that lets you select one or more existing Limit Tos to apply to the selected folder.
Click Next. The Customer Limit-To Configuration window is displayed. This window applies to all three Limit-To levels.

Select all the customer properties that you want the catalog items to be limited by within the following criteria.
Bill Cycle
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the bill cycles selected.
Market
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the market selected.
Account Type
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the account types selected.
Account Status
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the account statuses selected.
Click Next.

Select all the customer properties that you want the catalog items to be limited by within the following criteria.
Region
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the regions selected.
Customer Type
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the customer types selected.
Affinity Group
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the affinity groups selected.
Channel Partner
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the Channel Partners selected. If your company is licensed for Three Rate, select only one Channel Partner customer's name. If you are using E-Finity, you must use a Channel Partner.
Click Next. The Service Limit-To Configuration window is displayed. This window only applies to the Service Limit‑To level.

Select all the service properties that you want the catalog items to be limited by within the following criteria.
Service Type
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the types of services selected.
Tax Account Type
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the types of tax accounts selected.
Plan
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the plans selected. The list includes only plans in the "Plan" exclusive group.
Plan Catalog Group
Lets you select from your list of available Plan Catalog Groups.
Click Next. The next Service Limit-To Configuration window is displayed. This window only applies to the Service Limit‑To level.

Select all the service properties that you want the catalog items to be limited by within the following criteria.
Handset
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the handsets selected. The list includes only items with a Product Class of "Handset."
Contract
The assignment of the catalog items will be limited to the contracts selected. Only Contract SKUs in the Contracts exclusive group are available for selection
Handset Catalog Group
Lets you select from your list of available Handset Catalog Groups.
Click Next. The Location Limit-To Configuration window is displayed. This screen only applies to the Service Limit-To level.

Right-click in the Service Location Limit-To Configuration window to access the follow editing options:
To enter a new location, select New. The Service Location window is displayed. This window only applies to the Service level.
To modify an existing location, right-click on the desired location and select Edit. The Service Location window is displayed.
To delete an existing location, right-click on the desired location and select Delete.
Note
When a service is set up and a catalog item is assigned, the NPANXX, State, and OCN are validated to determine if the folder is available for assignment. Therefore, the rows in the Service Location Limit-To window work as “OR” executions, meaning row 1 or row 2 or row 3 is true. The columns work as “AND” executions, meaning column 1 and column 2 and column 3 are true.

Enter the necessary information and select Save to save the changes and return to the Service Location Limit-To window.
If you do not know the Rate Center to enter, click the Search button. The following window is displayed.

Click Search to view all the Rate Centers, or enter the appropriate search criteria and click Search to view the results.
Double-click to select a Rate Center, or right-click and choose Select.
To import Service Location information (such as data from a spreadsheet or data from another Limit-To Configuration file), select Import from the shortcut menu.

The Service Location Limit-to Import/Export window is displayed.
To add Service Location Information from your clipboard to the current data, select Append. Then click Paste from Clipboard and click Import. The present data remains and any data from your clipboard is also displayed.
To replace any existing Service Location Information with data from your clipboard, select Overwrite. Then click Paste from Clipboard and and click Import. Any previous data is gone and any data from your clipboard is displayed.
You may also add Service Location Information by clicking in a cell, typing an entry, then clicking Import.
Note
When using the Import function, the system checks to see if the Zone entered is valid. If it is, the record is successfully added to the Limit-To file. If not, an error message is displayed.

To export Service Location Information (such as data from a spreadsheet or data from another Limit-To Configuration file), select Export from the drop-down list.
The same Service Location Limit-To Import/Export window is displayed. The grid is populated with any existing data in the Service Location Limit-To file.
Click Copy to Clipboard to export the displayed data to a spreadsheet or to a different Limit-To file in the catalog. Then click the Export button. (Append and Overwrite do not apply when exporting.)
When you're done editing the Service Location Limit-To Configuration, click Next. The POS Location Limit-To Configuration window is displayed. This window applies to all three Limit-To levels.

Select the POS Locations where you want the catalog items to be available for sale. This setting affects POS orders. It also affects orders only if the user creating the order is connected to a POS location.
Check Show Inactive Locations to display locations that are not currently active. This lets you include locations that are not yet active.
To quickly select or clear multiple locations do one of the following:
Check a parent location. The parent and all children are selected.
Clear the check box of a selected location. Only that location's check box is cleared.
Right-click a parent location and select Check Tree. That parent and its children are selected.
Right-click a parent location and select Uncheck Tree. The check boxes for that parent and its children are cleared.
Right-click anywhere in Location and select Check All. All locations are selected.
Right-click anywhere in Location and select Uncheck All. All locations are cleared.
When you're done editing the POS Location Limit-To Configuration, click Next. The Order Limit-To Configuration window is displayed. This window applies to all three Limit-To levels.

Select the Order Types that the catalog items can be assigned to and click Next. The Apply Limit-To Selections window is displayed.

Click Finish to save all the information and exit the Limit-To Wizard. The folder icon changes to indicate that there are Limit-To's applied to it.

Select Existing InfoScript
You can use existing scripts to limit the catalog items in a folder to the same criteria as the existing script.
Click Applications > Product Management > Product Catalog. The Product Catalog window is displayed.
Right-click on a folder and select Limit To Configuration > Select Existing InfoScript. The Select Existing InfoScript window is displayed.

Select the desired InfoScript name from the drop-down list and click Save. The folder icon changes to indicate that there are Limit-To's applied to it.
