Local Calling Area Reference

The Local Calling Area Reference table lists information imported from CCMI which includes the LECs' rates.

1. From the Applications menu, select Product Management > Local Calling Areas > Reference. The Local Calling Area Reference Filter is displayed.

2. Select the appropriate State, OCN, and/or Call Plan to limit the number of records returned.

3. Click Filter. This displays the Local Calling Area Reference table.

4. You can now assign the Call Plan/RLRN to a Rate Plan.

   Assign a Call Plan / RLRN to a Rate Plan so you can easily mimic the regulated rate for Point-to-Point rating. Once the Rate Plan contains all the Call Plans you need, you can modify the rates in the Rate Plan's Rate Details.

   To assign a Call Plan / RLRN to a Rate Plan:

   1. From the Applications menu, select Product Management > Local Calling Areas > Reference.

   2. Enter the appropriate State, OCN, and/or Call Plan in the Local Calling Area Ref. Filter and click Filter.

   3. In the Local Calling Area Reference table, right-click the row you want to assign and select Assign. This opens the Assign Local Calling Area window.

   4. Double-click the Rate Plan. A confirmation message is displayed.

   5. Click Yes. The selected row is added to the Rate Details of the Rate Plan.

   To Bulk Assign multiple records to a Rate Plan:

   1. Filter the Local Calling Area Reference table to display only those items you want to assign to the Rate Plan.

   2. Click Bulk Assign. This opens the Assign Local Calling Area window.

   3. Double-click the Rate Plan. A confirmation message is displayed.

   4. Click Yes. The selected rows are added to the Rate Details of the Rate Plan.

   Note

   A distance type must be added before you can assign the Call Plan/RLRN to a Rate Plan.
