If you sell local service and need to base your rates on the ILEC’s local call plans, your company must purchase the QTEL9000 Format Database from CCMI. You need the Rate Center File and the Local Calling Area File. Then you must import the information into the IDI platform for use when rating local calls.
Use the RateBill Request Wizard to Import the CCMI files. Two files from CCMI need to be converted, the Rate Center file and the Local Calling Area file.
On the CCMI Import window:
Enter the complete path and file name in the Rate Center File field or click Browse to locate CCMI’s Rate Center File (currently named
ratf.dos).Enter the complete path and file name in the Local Calling Area File field or click Browse to locate CCMI’s Local Calling Area File (currently named
urcf.dos).Click Next. This displays the detail window of the next selected operation.
