Finding Reservations by Contact Information

You can search for unconfirmed service number reservations made by contact information.

To search for service number reservations:

  1. On the Order Wizard window, either click Actions and select Reservations > Find Reservations or click Find on the Service Number Reservations window. This displays the Find Service Number Reservations window.

    Note

    The search does not return reservations that the wizard already knows about. Select one or more of the results to make them available. The contact fields default to the primary customer contact.

  2. Enter search criteria as described below:

    Reservation ID

    Limits the search to reservations made under this reservation identification number.

    Reserved By

    Limits the search to reservations made by the user entered in this field.

    Service Number

    Limits the search to the service number previously reserved.

    MIN

    Limits the search to the MIN previously reserved.

    Does not apply to wireline.

    Reserved Date From / To

    Limits the search to reservations made within the date range that you enter.

    First Name

    First name of the contact associated with the reservation.

    Last Name

    Last name of the contact associated with the reservation.

    Company Name

    Name of the company associated with the account.

    Street 1

    Street address of the individual or company listed as the subscriber for this account.

    Street 2

    Available for additional address information, if needed.

    City / State / Zip

    City, state, and postal zip code of the individual or company's location.

    Country

    Individual or company's country.

    Phone Number

    Telephone number entered in the Phone Number field on the Reservation Contact Information window, when the number was reserved.

    Email

    Email address entered in the Email field on the Reservation Contact Information window, when the number was reserved.

    Find

    Performs the search. The results of the search are displayed in the lower part of the window, under "Search Results."

    Reset

    Populates the contact criteria fields with the primary customer contact's details.

    Clear

    Clears the input criteria.

    Apply

    Tells the system to use the selected numbers in the associated order.

    Notes:

    • Wildcards can be used on all input fields, except Reserved By and Reserved Date From/To.

    • The contact reservation may not have had all fields entered when the number was reserved.

      The Search Results area provides the following information.

      Reservation ID

      Check the boxes next to the reservations you wish to use.

      # Unconfirmed

      Number of reservation details that have a status of Unconfirmed (reserved, but not yet assigned).

      Final Expiration Date

      Date the last reservation detail expires.

      Contact Name

      Name of the subscriber associated with the account.

      Company Name

      Name of the company associated with the account.

      Street 1

      Street address of the individual or company listed as the subscriber for this account.

      Street 2

      Additional address information, if needed.

      City / State / Zip

      City, state, and postal zip code of the individual or company's location.

      Country

      Individual or company's country.

      Phone Number

      Telephone number entered in the Phone Number field on the Reservation Contact Information window, when the number was reserved.

      Email

      Email address entered in the Email field on the Reservation Contact Information window, when the number was reserved.

  3. Click Apply, then Close.

    If you click Apply and no reservations are selected, the Find Service Number Reservations message is displayed. Click Yes to continue or No to close the message without continuing.
