To change the service addresses for a particular service:

  1. In the Service Address Associations window, select By Service from the View Mode drop-down list.

  2. In the Services section of the window, select the service number you want to change. This displays the service addresses associated with the selected service number in the Service Addresses section.

  3. Right-click anywhere in the Service Addresses section and select Change Associated Addresses. This displays the Change Associated Addresses window, which lists the service addresses associated with the current customer account. All service addresses that are currently associated with the selected service number are checked.

The Change Associated Addresses window provides the following information:

    Service Address

Service address associated with the current customer.

    Address Status

    Status of this service address.

    MSAG Information

Indicates whether or not the service address was validated against the MSAG table:

    • If the service address was successfully validated against the MSAG table, this field contains the text "MSAG on MM/DD/YYYY", where MM/DD/YYYY is the date the validation was performed.

    • If the service address was not validated against the MSAG table or it failed the MSAG validation, this field contains the text "Not MSAG Validated".

  4. Check only those service addresses that you want to be associated with the selected service number. Make sure the service addresses that are not associated with the selected service number are not checked.

  5. Click Save to associate the checked service addresses with the service number selected in the Services section of the Service Address Associations window.

    Note

If you uncheck a service address that is the current tax service address, an error message is displayed. Click Close, recheck the service address in question, and click Save. The service address remains on the list of service addresses associated with this service.

    Note

If you uncheck a service address that is the current E911 service address, an error message is displayed. Click Close, recheck the service address in question, and click Save. The service address remains on the list of service addresses associated with this service.

When you're finished, the Change Associated Addresses window is closed. The Services section of the Service Address Associations window is reset to the first service number in the list and the Service Addresses section is subsequently updated with the service addresses associated with the first service number.

    Note

To view the changes you made, click on the service number whose associations you modified. The changes you made are reflected in the Service Addresses section of the window.
