Most Inventory Counts are done on the same items -- either on a weekly or monthly basis.
Rather than having to set up the criteria for these counts every time, you can create a template that contains the required items. You can then reuse this template whenever needed.
Templates can be set up to include specific
Catalog Items
Catalog Groups
and/or Catalog Categories.
Templates can also be created to exclude specific Catalog Items.
An Inventory Count Template can be set up to use the Inventory Count Settings from the location at which the count is performed or it can use specific settings specified on the template itself.
Special instructions can also be included on the template that will be displayed to the user who is performing the count.
To view existing Inventory Count Templates, go to Applications > POS Back Office > Inventory Counts > Inventory Count Templates
