Working with Retail Products - UPC Tab

In addition to each retail product having a SKU, it can also have a UPC code.

Note

You can only add or remove a code; there is no editing capability.

To add a UPC Code to a product:

• Access the UPC tab on either the Edit Retail Product window or the Add Retail Product window.

• Enter the UPC number in the New UPC field.

• Click Add.

  The UPC is displayed in the center UPC area.

  Note

  The UPC code must be unique; if it is already assigned to another product, an error message is displayed and you will not be able to add it.

  To remove a UPC Code from a product:

• Access the UPC tab from the Edit Retail Product window.

• Right-click the UPC to be removed from the UPC box in the center of the window.

• Click Remove.

  The UPC is removed from the center UPC area.
