Term | Definition |

Domain | Organization units that can be used to separate users into different groups, each with its own set of account administrators and security policy requirements. |
Environment | Configuration and dataset context used when a user is accessing an application. |
Roles | Assigned to a user in order to grant them privileges in an application. Roles are made up of individual application permissions that are bundled together. |
Permission | Authorization for a user to access an application function. |
Security Permissions

Manage Domains | Allows a user to create new domains within a company, set password policies, and to see all domains within the company. |
Manage Roles | Allows a user to add, edit and delete roles. |
Manage Users | Allows a user to add, view, and assign roles for other user accounts. The permission allows for editing of account settings except passwords and security questions. |
Manage Passwords | Allows a user to set a user’s password or to clear their security questions. |
View Domains | Allows a user to view information associated with their company’s user domains as well as view user account information for users within all domains. |
View Users | Allows a user to view user account information for other users. |
