Searching the NPANXX Table

You can search the NPANXX table via the IDI Desktop Client.

1. From the Applications menu select BackOffice Management > NPA NXX Management > Search. This displays the NPANXX Search window.

   

   The search criteria fields are used in conjunction. For example, if you enter an NPA of 585, all NXXs associated with that NPA are displayed. But if you enter an NPA of 585 and an NXX of 924, only that row that contains the NPANXX combination of 585924 is displayed.

   The NPANXX Search window contains the following search criteria.

   NPA(s)	Enter the 3-digit NPA. You can enter multiple NPAs if you separate them with commas.
   NXX(s)	Enter the 3-digit NXX. You can enter multiple NXXs if you separate them with commas.
   LATA(s)	Enter the 3-digit Lata number. You can enter multiple LATAs if you separate them with commas.
   OCN(s)	Enter the OCN number. You can enter multiple OCN numbers if you separate them with commas.
   State(s)	Enter the 2-character state designation. You can enter multiple states if you separate them with commas.
   Zone	Select all of the applicable zones. Note You can search by the default zone of 'Unassigned', or you can search by the names of the zones created in Data Management.

2. nter the necessary search criteria and click Search. This displays the NPA/NXX table filtered by your search criteria.

   

   The shortcut menu offers the following options.

   Filter	The standard filter options are available.
   Refresh	Updates the NpaNxx table after you have made changes.
   Update Zone for Selected Row	Opens the Update Zone for NpaNxx window which allows you to assign or change the zone for the selected NPANXX.
   Update Zone for All Rows in Current View	Opens the Update Zone For All Rows in Current View window which allows you to assign or change the zone for all the NPANXX currently loaded in the window.

   By Selected Lata	Opens the Update Zone For All Rows in NpaNxx table by Lata window which allows you to assign or change the zone for all of the NPANXXs which are associated with the selected LATA.
   By Selected Npa	Opens the Update Zone For All Rows in NpaNxx table by Npa window which allows you to assign or change the zone for all of the NPANXXs which are associated with the selected NPA.
   By Selected OCN	Opens the Update Zone For All Rows in NpaNxx table by OCN window which allows you to assign or change the zone for all of the NPANXXs which are associated with the selected OCN.
   By Selected State	Opens the Update Zone For All Rows in NpaNxx table by State window which allows you to assign or change the zone for all of the NPANXXs which are associated with the selected state.
   Add NpaNxx	Opens the Add NpaNxx window which allows you to add a new NPANXX.
   Delete NpaNxx	Removes an NPANXX from the NPANXX table.
